ACV Enviro Fleet Auction Opens Up Room for New, “Green” Replacement Trucks
Avenel, New Jersey | ACV Enviro is excited to announce its upcoming fleet auction on December 9th, 2020 which will take place online at https://crgllc.com/services/auction/upcoming-auctions/ at 10:00am ET. *Equipment inspections are available on Monday, December 7th, from 9:00am – 4:00pm ET prior to the actual auction. This auction is the next step in ACV’s Green Fleet Sustainability Plan (GFSP) with aggressive goals of a greener fleet by 2021. “As a large environmental company with a massive fleet, we are acutely aware of greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions,” said Michael Harris, Vice President of Operations and Optimization. “Our maintenance and optimization teams are committed to protecting the public and taking care of our people and customers by providing them with the best equipment (and emissions) on the market.”
The ACV Enviro maintenance and optimization teams identified ~10% of the current fleet that will be placed in auction on December 9th. The move to auction this part of the fleet lays the groundwork to achieve tangible results in their GFSP initiative by adding brand new 2021 vehicles to its roster. Most recently, ACV kicked off its GFSP by adding Samsara® to its vehicles to increase the safety, efficiency and sustainability of the operations of the fleet.
