Buried In Hand Sanitizer?
The Covid-19 pandemic triggered several organizations going down the road to create or purchase hand sanitizers. Were you one of many companies who over-stocked and now cannot manage the excess of saleable hand sanitizers? Did you produce too much volume and now are stuck with more than you can sell? The FDA has issued a statement that hand sanitizers manufactured before or on December 31, 2021 and produced under temporary guidance can no longer be sold or distributed by manufacturers after March 31, 2022.
If you have hand sanitizers you need to get rid of, call ACV Enviro. Generators outside of California and Minnesota do not have to count hand sanitizer waste towards their Generator Status. This mitigates the risk of Small Quantity Generators (SQG) moving to a Large Quantity Generator (LQG) status that comes with significantly more hazardous waste regulations.
When recycled, hand sanitizer is exempt from hazardous waste regulations and is not required to ship on a Uniform Hazardous Waste Manifest. ACV Enviro can ship your sanitizer on a bill of lading rather than hazardous manifest which will significantly reduce the risk for you.
