Job Title: Regional Lab Pack Manager
Reports To: Director Lab Pack Services
Job Status: Exempt
Locations: Baltimore, MD
The Regional Lab Pack Supervisor the day to day oversight of the Lab Pack team with in their defined territory of operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work with Lap Pack teams to perform lab pack services, segregating and classifying hazardous and non-hazardous materials per Federal DEP & EPA guidelines and State requirements.
- Maintains daily work schedule for Lab Pack crew; includes scheduling jobs, cutting sales order, creating job folders and dispatching teams.
- Properly complete waste profiles and regulatory documentation including manifests, Land Disposal Restrictions (LDR’s) and container labels.
- Perform projects pertaining to hazardous waste operations; including but not limited to sampling, drum handling and disposal.
- Supports development of Lab Pack employees including mentoring and progression planning.
- Ensures Health and Safety policies are strictly followed at all times.
- Performs emergency response activities as needed.
- Implements operational initiatives as developed by management.
- Supports Sales organization through scoping of Lab Pack jobs, creating quotations and profiles as necessary, and acting in capacity of subject matter expert.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management.
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field such as Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science preferred.
- Previous Lab Packing experience required.
- Strong Chemistry/Science Background.
- Pass a Pre-Employment Physical w/Drug Screen.
- Clean Driving Record for the past 2 years.
- 40-hour HAZWOPER (provided if necessary).
- Class C CDL w/ Hazmat Endorsement or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- Ability to lift 60 pounds.
